    do i use ddDd for each chord or ddDdddDd for each chord????

    For most chords you’ll be playing ddDd, but when the chord stretches longer, you’ll loop that strumming pattern so you’d be playing ddDd ddDd. Watch the video from 1:50 for a demo of how the downstrokes only strumming pattern works.

    If you just held that rhythm for the entire song, you would be able to play through the entire song without any problems. Hope that helps! :)
