    Nice lesson for Mr Brightside.

Vids like this are kinda essential on the internet for guitarists in covers bands.

keep it up. nice one thanks again.

Heeey and thank you so much for this site! I’ve been trying to learn how to play the guitar for ages but my tiny fingres and my lack of patience convinced me that the guitarplaying was not meant for me.. well, okay.. maybe I haven’t tryed to learn it “for ages” since I’m only 17 years old, hehe.. but what I guess I’m trying to say is that i really enjoyed this site and it made me wanna keep trying. Keep up the great work! And thanks for the guitar tuner as well! Have a really great day / Sandra the swedish-chilean-wannabe-guitarplaying-girl!

No worries Sandriita, glad the site could be of help! It can take years to master the guitar in its entirety, however it only takes a few weeks to master the essential fundamentals that allow you to play chords, strum and sing – which is usually more than enough and what I find helps motivate people later on if they want to improve. If there’s anything I can do to improve the tutorials, please do let me know, its always great to hear from people like you =)

Hi Ian! it’s really good that you came out of this site. I can say that this is a great help for me, I was given a guitar as a birthday present but the problem was, I don’t know how to start. Lucky me, I found this site, everything I’m looking for is here, no need to jump into another site. Just want to let you know that i do appreciate your effort, keep goin! I hope that you can also add the chords of “way back into love” from music and lyrics movie. thanks a lot! God bless :D

Thanks a lot Ian! I have always wanted to learn the basics of guitar-playing, but by just looking at tablatures I was sometimes completely at loss how to do the finger placements of different chords or what a nice strumming pattern would be. You taught me that and I am still learning from this site, I hope you keep up the good work and keep adding tutorials! Cheers, Tom
